Terms of Service — FuturMinds
Terms

The terms of working together.

Plain-English ground rules covering the website and any engagement.

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Note: These website terms apply to everyone who visits or contacts FuturMinds. For paid engagements, a separate, signed Statement of Work (SOW) sets the specific commercial terms — it controls if anything here conflicts.

01About us

FuturMinds ("we", "us") is an AI consulting practice based at futurminds.com. We help founder-led businesses deploy production AI systems — Executive AI Cockpits, Internal AI Agent Stacks, and Customer-Facing AI. For any question about these terms, email ai@futurminds.com.

02Use of this website

You're welcome to browse, read, and share this site. By using it, you agree to:

  • Use it for lawful purposes only.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or probe the site for vulnerabilities without permission.
  • Not scrape content at scale or use it to train machine learning models without our written permission.
  • Not impersonate us or misrepresent your affiliation with us.

We may update the site at any time. We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe someone is violating these terms.

03Contacting us & inquiries

Submitting the contact form is not a contract. It's a request to talk. Any engagement begins only after a mutual written agreement (a signed SOW).

Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

04How engagements work

A typical engagement proceeds like this:

  • Fit call — we discuss your situation, goals, and constraints.
  • Operations Assessment — a 2–3 week paid deep-dive producing a diagnosis, roadmap, and risk map. Cost is credited against any build we do together within six months.
  • SOW — a written Statement of Work defining scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Build — phased delivery against the SOW.
  • Handover — full documentation, source code, and access so you can operate the system independently.

05Fees and payment

Fees are stated in the signed SOW. Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Invoices are due within 14 days of issue.
  • Late payments may accrue interest at the statutory rate applicable in our jurisdiction.
  • Work may be paused if payment is overdue by more than 30 days.
  • Expenses approved in advance (third-party tools, cloud usage) are passed through at cost.

06Intellectual property

Website content

All content on futurminds.com — copy, design, code, visuals, and marks — is ours or used under license. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission, except for short excerpts with attribution.

What we build for clients

You own what we build for you. On final payment, all rights in the custom code, prompts, agents, configuration, and documentation we deliver under an SOW transfer to you. We retain rights to our pre-existing tools, templates, and general know-how (and a right to reuse anonymised patterns and learnings in other projects).

Third-party components

Some deliverables incorporate open-source or commercially-licensed third-party components (e.g. Claude, n8n, libraries). Those are governed by their own licenses, which we'll identify for you in the handover.

07Confidentiality

We treat your business information, data, and customer details as confidential. We'll sign a standard mutual NDA before the Operations Assessment. We don't share client lists publicly without permission.

Confidential information can be disclosed only with your permission or where required by law.

08Warranties

We deliver our work with care, using industry-standard practices. Within the engagement timeframe defined in the SOW, we will fix defects in what we built at no additional charge.

What we do not warrant: That AI outputs will always be accurate, appropriate, or fit for every edge case. AI systems are probabilistic. We design for safety, reversibility, and human oversight — but we cannot guarantee a specific business outcome, revenue impact, or that no hallucinations will ever occur.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability to you under any engagement will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for matters that cannot be lawfully limited (e.g. gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

10Your responsibilities

For any engagement to succeed, you agree to:

  • Provide timely access to the people, data, and systems necessary for the work.
  • Operate the deployed system in line with the security practices and usage guidelines we document.
  • Own the regulatory and compliance decisions specific to your industry (we advise; you decide).
  • Maintain appropriate backup, monitoring, and incident response once the system is handed over.

11Termination

Either party may terminate an SOW with the notice period stated in the SOW (typically 30 days). On termination, you pay for work completed up to the termination date, and we hand over work-in-progress in a usable state.

We may terminate immediately if you materially breach these terms or the SOW and fail to cure within 14 days of written notice.

12Indemnities

Each side agrees to indemnify the other against third-party claims caused by its own breach of these terms, infringement of third-party rights, or gross negligence.

13Publicity

We will not disclose that you are a client, name you in case studies, or describe the work we did for you without your written permission.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these website terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes affecting existing engagements require a signed amendment to the relevant SOW.

15Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your signed SOW. For website use without a signed SOW, they are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, with exclusive jurisdiction for disputes vested in the courts of that jurisdiction.
